Yes — you need someone comfortable with command line, VPS setup, and API keys. This is not a SaaS you click to activate. The kit walks you through every step, but the person deploying should be able to follow a technical recipe. If your team doesn't have that profile, reach out — we can talk about options.
Everything runs on your own infrastructure — VPS in your EU region plus optional Mac Mini secondary host. Data never leaves your server. API usage is with the LLM providers directly (not consumer products), so your data isn't used to train models. All EU-hosted. GDPR-compliant by default. The production reference deployment runs in Germany (Hetzner).
The system is model-agnostic. When a new Claude, GPT, or Gemini ships, you swap the model config without changing the architecture. Integrations use standard APIs so they survive updates. And when things DO break (they do — see Chapter 11b for 28 lessons), playbook updates ship with fixes.
